we've now been pushin our freeform riddims for an entire year now, and what a year it has been. we've been extremely fortunate to have had some incredible talent come through and bless the proper decks: madlib, peanutbutterwolf, umoja hi-fi, jazzanova, vikter duplaix, charlie dark, daz-i-kue, alex attias, seiji, dj abstract, noel, stareyes, siren, and the list goes on & on... many great memories indeed! and with the momentum we've got now, next year should be even bigger and better.
so, to celebrate our first birthday, we've got one of the most talented, and hardest working deejays from the bay area, Ms E... if you some how, don't already know about her, here is a bio i got off the groundscore site.

Ms.E transmits a positively electrifying fusion of nubreakin, techfunkin rhythms - setting a mood of excitement and inspiration in her performances. A music lover and jetsetter since day one, Emily grew up with influences from the radio waves, her rockin family and all dance music. She is a professional DJ, radio producer and music promoter as well as the Director of Marketing & Distribution for the well-respected electronic music culture magazine XLR8R.
Having set foot in San Francisco to pursue her career in media communications in 1995, Ms.E branched out on the radio airwaves and continues to host FUTURE BREAKS FM which airs every Saturday on KUSF 90.3, showcasing full-spectrum breakbeat music with DJs PUSH, Gabe Real and crew. She's been a catalyst in the evolution of electronic music radio, pushing its presence worldwide by producing syndicated Public Radio programming and a legacy of Internet shows for Groovetech, Betalounge, VersionK, DubLab, Streetsound/Pseudo, Radio-V, NuBreaks, Eyephunk, X-Radio, LiveDJs and Space.FM,
Emily's early obsession for jungle music inspired her to join ladies dMarie & Qzen in beginning the weekly club EKLEKTIC, now known and loved worldwide as the leading drum & bass/breakbeat vibe on the West Coast.
Ms.E now holds two residencies - at HEKTIC, Eklektic's joint home of nujack funk & breakstep with DJs Felix the Dog, Clockwork and Lee Coombs. Her crew from Future Breaks FM and their soulful drum & bass label TRUE INTENT RECORDINGS also host a Saturday night weekly BOTTOM HEAVY at The Top DJ Bar in the Lower Haight.
Since 1998, Ms.E has gigged at various clubs, houseparties, raves, fashion shows, galleries, forests, an oxygen bar and event a desert wedding. Cities like Seattle, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Las Vegas, Sacramento, Dallas, Miami, San Diego and Minneapolis have felt her presence - as well as the Burning Man Festival in Black Rock City, Nevada and the punk rock heaven that is the Warped Tour.
Her Fall 2001 UK tour was met with great enthusiasm. She debuted at London's essential weekly breakbeat night Chew The Fat, hosted the fortnightly TCR internet radio show with B.L.I.M. and was the special guest on Danny McMillan's show on the heavyweight dance station KISS 100. Ms.E's connection to the pulse of quality breakbeat music coming out of the UK, US and beyond is on point and coming on strong in her DJ mixsets.
