Best Live Mix of 2003?
« on: December 30, 2003, 10:10:20 AM »
Ok, the year is coming to an end so let's find out what mixes where at the top of everyone's playlists.  I'm also curious to hear who people are looking forward to hearing in 2004.

My favorite mix was Paul van Dyk live at Cream's closing party at Amnesia on Sept. 18.  It is a good mix of old and new and keeps going strong for the full four hours.  You can really feel the energy and it definitely makes you wish that you were there.

Not sure what I expect to hear in 2004.  My only hope is that the dance music community can come up with some type of itunes like music store for dance music.  If they can make it that easy and reasonably priced, hopefully people will start paying for the tracks rather than dl'ing them.

The Armin Van Buuren Essential Mix from February.  2003 was a great year for him.  He earned his spot among the world's top djs.

Beauty is unbearable, drives us to despair, offering us for a minute the glimpse of an eternity that we should like to stretch out over the whole of time...
