MTV premier a new series of Spider-Man tonite at 22.00 (ET) featuring an original soundtrack created by John Digweed and Nick Muir. Digweed describes it as 'one of the hardest projects we've ever worked on.' The music was created with LA composer Will Anderson and features in all 13 episodes.


Tiesto performed to 13,500 people at the A3 TV / Party 93.1FM July 4 Blast in Miami. The free event took place at Peacock Park in Coconut Grove. DanceStar were there in force with a signing tent in conjunction with Borders Inc and guest Ray Roc and Becky Baeling.


Zouk Singapore have produced a beautiful book to celebrate their many years at the top of the Asian dance music scene. A limited-edition box set of just 500 copies is available from www.zoukbook.com.


Heineken have confirmed a second year of their groundbreaking Thirst tour for 2004. The global initiative, centered around Paul Oakenfold, will feature guests Pete Tong, Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk .


Ultra Music Festival have announced their Ultra Sunset Beach Party on Sunday August 31 on Miami Beach. The event features Paul Van Dyk, Groove Armada and Armand Van Helden. Perfecto release the new Ultra Music Festival compilation at the same time.


Pacha Ibiza have launched a new magazine for the summer. The publication is produced / edited by DanceStar's Ben Turner. The magazine is available free on the island of Ibiza and at Pacha clubs all over the world. It has a 40,000 print-run.


Colombian producer / DJ Illana Ospina, who has a release due on Richie Hawtin's M-nus imprint, is currently sound supervisor for the films Loopy (based on a story by Ruth Rendell) and Indocumentados.


'Head' by Thunderpuss & Barnes has become one of the biggest Ibiza anthems in 2003. The track, a mainstay in sets in the US for months, is one of the biggest tracks on the Space Terrace. Meanwhile, Puff Daddy returns to the island in August in support of his debut club track 'Let's Get Ill' .


It's All Gone Pete Tong is the follow-up to cult dance music movie Human Traffic. The title, English club-speak for 'it's all gone wrong', features cameo roles from leading dance music figures from the last decade. The film is based around a superstar DJ who goes deaf just as his career is in full flow. Filming starts in Ibiza in late July.
